As a Photographer, I understand the importance of prints. In fact, they’re not just important, they are a necessity in my opinion. Their sentimental value will only increase over time and when all is said and done – they’re priceless.
Regardless of whether my clients choose to upgrade or not, they are always presented with prints alongside their digitals. I think it’s fundamental to have both and here’s why:
- 1. The feeling of seeing you or a loved one photo
Whether it’s in a frame, or carefully put into a thoughtful album, the feeling of positive nostalgia is a hard one to top. It’s so powerful: it can make you feel like you belong, make you feel loved and make you more self-aware. Instilling these feelings into our children from a young age is a profound act of intentional love. And it never ceases to amaze me how something so simple can have such great effect on us.
- 2. Photos are invaluable
If I was to you ask a hypothetical question about a house fire and what you’d take with you first (besides your loved ones), I am pretty certain that photos and memorabilia will be a close second and third. Because they are invaluable to us. I have lost hours of my life looking through old photo albums and obsessing over the past relatives, relationships and even outfits! Family photographs will stand the test of time, every time.
- 3. They can be passed down over generations
Learning about our family history is empowering and before we know it, photographs of our loved ones are all we have left. So my advice is to always always get in the photo.

My collections are categorised into three tiers.
- Standard Package – included with every photo session: 10 digital images with matching 7×5″ prints
- Collection I – 10 additional digital Images (20 in total) with matching 7×5″ prints
- Collection II – 20 additional images (30 in total) with matching 7×5″
- Collection III – All images available to download as high resolution images, plus 40 prints presented in a personalised velvet keepsake box. 12×18″ framed and mounted print of your choice.
